Wesley Henderson scored nine of his game-high 19 points during the first quarter when Aquinas jumped to a 20-10 lead on the way to the Li’l Irish’s seventh win in their last eight games. Henderson, who came into the game averaging 16.3 points per game, connected four times from the floor in the opening stanza including one of three 3-pointers Aquinas hit. Jack Bleier added 11 points for Aquinas while freshman Will Scanlon had 10 and Myles Blackwood, nine. Gabe Miller (7), Shannon Sims (5) and Mykel White (3) rounded out the scoring for Aquinas. Gates-Chili’s Devin Walton hit three 3-pointers and paced the Spartans with 16 points. Mair Morrison had all 11 of his points in the second quarter when Gates-Chili outscored Aquinas 18-16. Terrace Walker, Jr. added seven. Adam Williams (6), Spencer Glenn (5) and Mitchell Harris (4) rounded out the scoring for G-C.

Edgar Bass IV scored eight of his game and season-high 25 points in the second quarter when Edison Tech erased a double-digit deficit to take a one-point edge into halftime. Trailing 20-10 after the first eight minutes of play, Bass connected once from behind the 3-point arc and added a pair of field goals as the Inventors outscored Wilson 23-12 in the stanza. Bass added eight assists and five rebounds to his effort. Shaheem Ellis, Jr. finished with five of his 14 points in the quarter, and Nahjhime Kirton chipped in with all six of his points for the game. Torrean Lewis posted a double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds. Brandon Latson had 11 points. Andy Larancuent (8) and Jarell Johnson (4) rounded out the scoring for Edison. Brennan Clark paced Wilson with 23 points . Christian Harmon hit three 3-pointers and added 19. Zavarius Henry had 11. Damel Turner chipped in five points. Zach Colvin scored six of his game-high 18 points during the fourth quarter when Avon rallied from nine down to win for the third time in four games. Colvin converted four-of-six free throw attempts over the final eight minutes and 8-of-13 for the game. Tyler Dailey added 13 points for the Braves which trailed 39-28 after three quarters. Michael Rowland scored nine points and Nick Rowland had eight. Andrew Rowland chipped in with four points. Jimmy Cole and Will Shearing combined for seven first-quarter points to pace Letchworth to a 16-10 lead. Shearing finished the game with 13, and Cole had 12 points. Nik Eustace had nine points. Brett Vasile chipped in eight. Drew Dunbar (3) and Williams Bean (2) rounded out the scoring for Letchworth.
