ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Makayla McCorker and Diamond Pickett posted double-doubles to lead the East High girls’ basketball team to a 57-39 victory over Honeoye Falls-Lima, Wednesday night.
McCorker finished with 13 points and 11 rebounds to go with three blocked shots. Pickett had 10 points and 12 rebounds, and East improved to 2-1 on the season.
Shariona Blocker had 18 points, seven rebounds, seven assists and three blocks in the win. Xandria Flanders contributed 10 points. East hosts School of the Arts (SOTA) in an RCAC matchup, Thursday night.
Hannah Selke paced HF-L (0-1) with 21 points. Teammate Leah Samson added eight points and 12 rebounds. HF-L hosts Batavia in Monroe County Division IV game, Friday.
