Cat Wall stopped a pair of penalty kick attempts while Corynna Rotoli, Sabrina Trapani, Lily Brongo and Lily DiPalma converted opportunities to clinch Spencerport’s third NYS championship game appearance in four years. The game was a rematch of the 2017 NYS game. Similar to that contest, the teams were deadlocked after four overtime periods. The Rangers will be looking to win their third state title when they take on Shoreham-Wading River (XI) in Sunday’s championship game.

Selina Jud netted a hat trick, and Avoca advanced to its first appearance in the NYSPHSAA Class D championship game. The Tigers will play Poland (III) in Sunday’s 10:30 AM contest.
