Lorenzo Serafini connected six minutes into overtime, and Bath-Haverling (No. 1 NYSSWA) advanced to the NYS Class B Far West Regional for the second straight year. Thomas Binkowski assisted on Serafini’s golden goal. Binkowski got the Rams on the scoreboard with an unassisted marker in the first half. Pal-Mac (No. 14 NYSSWA) had won 16 straight games coming into the contest. Bath-Haverling will play Section VI champion Lackawanna (18-3-0) in the NYS Class B Far West Regional. A 3:30 PM start time is scheduled Saturday at Hilton High School.
CLASS C
KESHEQUA (20-0-0) 1
EAST ROCHESTER (19-1-0) 0
Aidan Wood needed one minute of overtime to find the back of the net, and Keshequa (No. 7 NYSSWA) advanced to the NYS Class C Far West Regional. The win was the third in overtime this season for Keshequa. East Rochester (No. 1 NYSSWA) came into the contest averaging five goals per game in their three previous postseason outings. The Bombers scored 100 goals this season. Keshequa will play Section VI champion Maple Grove (17-2-0) in Friday’s NYS Class C Far West Regional. A 5 PM kickoff is slated at Hilton High School.
