Friday Soccer Wrap: Flint, Mpenzi and Olver net hat tricks; Bath-Haverling closes regular season undefeated

Fernando Furioso (6) scored two goals in Bishop Kearney’s win over C.G. Finney.

Five different players scored for Bath-Haverling (No. 1 NYSSWA Class B). Thomas Binkowski finished with a goal and an assist. Keeper Calkins had two helpers. Spencer Dickson and Lorenzo Serafini connected in the first half for a 2-nil Rams lead. Justin Marshall and Tony Organdies added a tally apiece in the second half.

LIVONIA (10-4-2) 6
Jake Olver netted a hat trick including a pair of first-half strikes as Livonia jumped to 3-nil lead. Thomas Hayes added a goal and a helper in the first 40 minutes. Brady Bishop and Bryce Hoang collected a goal apiece in the second stanza. Ewan Maxwell, Shane Melead and Jordan Perdue each had an assist.

MOUNT MORRIS (5-11-0) 3
Brandon Flint delivered a hat trick, and Mount Morris avenged an earlier loss. Chase Young and Logan Brooks both had an assist. Cal-Mum took the earlier meeting, 4-2.

Carson DeVinney had a goal and two assists as Perry won its fourth straight game. Tyler Uvieno snapped a scoreless tie halftime. Dennis VanDuser and Mitchell Hockey scored a goal apiece. Hockey and Garrett Mcclure both had an assist.

Kaleb Glessing scored twice to lead Wayne (No. 24 NYSSWA Class A) to its seventh straight win. Josh Bolt added a goal and an assist. Tyler Reynolds and Ryan Wilson contributed a helper apiece. The teams were tied at zero at halftime.

Derreck Fedus scored twice while Garrick Havens had a goal and an assist  as Batavia won its fourth straight. Evan Preston and Joe Gefell added a goal apiece. Josh Weis and Andres Mateos both had an assist.

Casey O’Gara had a goal and two assists. Fernando Furioso scored twice, and Evan Stevely had a tally and a helper to lead Kearney. Caleb Baraka added a score in the second half. Andy Duran chipped in with an assist.

Adrian Fuller scored a pair of goals and HAC won for the second time in three games. Rafael Ferguson added a goal and an assist. Roman Novy-Marx had two helpers. Carlin Kennedy also scored. Northstar came into the match ranked No. 20 NYSSWA Class D.

Yohana Mpenzi finished with three goals and an assist as East closed the regular season winning eight of its last nine games. Jonathan Ceysaire scored twice and added a helper. Gold Mata had a goal and an assist. Sabin Rai also scored.
