Griffin Yastremski led Bath-Haverling’s offense, going 1-for-2 with four RBI and three runs scored, followed by Cayden Mattison with two hits, four RBI and a run scored in four at bats. AJ Brotz added a 2-for-4 day with four runs scored, while Justin Marshall had two hits and two runs scored. Austin Palmer went 2-for-5 with two RBI, and Charlie Shaut picked up two hits and an RBI in two at bats. Alec Sestak scored twice for Bath-Haverling, who will face No. 1 Waterloo in the quarterfinals. Brendan Strong tossed four scoreless innings, allowing two hits and striking out six. Zolan Moran-Corbett threw a hitless, scoreless inning in relief, fanning two. Matt Statskey drove in NRW/Red Creek’s lone run.

Ryan Younger went 2-for-2 with two RBI and two runs scored for Avon, who is set to take on the winner of No. 2 Gananda. Younger gave Avon the lead for good with a two-run single in the fourth inning. Jesse Countryman scored twice, while Nick Hall drove in one run and scored once. Ian Read threw four scoreless innings in relief, allowing two hits and striking out one en route to earning the win. Avon scored a run in every inning except for the first. Will Shearing finished the day 2-for-4 with an RBI for Letchworth.

Eric Wilson pitched five scoreless innings for Cal-Mum, allowing four hits and one walk with eight strikeouts. Joe Laursen tossed two hitless, scoreless innings in relief, fanning three. Ethan Pies went 2-for-2 with a run scored and two stolen bases. Cal-Mum will play the winner of No. 13 Pavilion in the quarterfinals. Ryan Davis had two hits in three at bats for Alexander.

Spencer John fanned 17 en route to throwing a no-hitter, sending South Seneca/Romulus on to face No. 7 Bolivar-Richburg in the quarterfinals. John threw 62 of his 78 pitches for strikes. John also went 4-for-5 with four RBI and two runs scored, while Chris Lucas finished 3-for-3 with three RBI and three runs scored. Ira Aman had four hits, three runs scored and an RBI, with Kyle Sheilds also crossing the plate three times and driving in a run. Ben Jessop contributed three runs scored and two RBI, Jack Mott added two hits, two runs scored and an RBI, and Braeden Cupp knocked in two and scored once.
