Sophomore Ian McNabb struck out 13 over five innings and allowed one run on three hits to pick up his first varsity win as the Webster Thomas Titans (5-3) won their third straight game. Mitchell Kelly collected two hits on the night including a leadoff single in the bottom of the first. The sophomore stole second base and scored on a Jim Marasco home run. Thomas used a two-out rally in the second. Peter Dennison singled and came home on Kelly’s round tripped. The Titans manufactured one more run in the third frame on a Sam DeGrace double and an RBI groundout by Devin Mulcahy. In the sixth inning, Dennison’s third hit of the game, a two-run single, gave the Titans a commanding 7-1 advantage. Caden Hann and Matt Stuewe both a hit for the Titans. Amherst took a 1-0 lead in the top of the first.
