Spencerport erupted for nine runs in the first three innings to take down Gates-Chili. Ned LaDuca singled in a pair of runs in the second inning, doubled in Nicholas LoPresti in the third frame and went 3-for-4 at the plate. Joseph Cuddy doubled in two runs in the third inning as the Rangers took a commanding 7-0 advantage. Cuddy was 2-for-3 with a walk and a run scored. Nathan Hueber and Jason Nau both collected two hits. Nau had an RBI and crossed the plate twice. Hueber scored a run as well. Mark Neu went 1-for-4 with a walk and a run scored. Kiernan Crowley and Cuddy combined for a two-hitter, allowing two walks and striking out 10 batters. For Gates-Chili, Brian Gerogetti and Angelino Orres both had the team’s only hits of the game. This game was originally suspended in the top of the fourth inning on Tuesday due to rain.

Arielis Lora hurled a no-hitter to lead Spencerport to another shutout victory over Gates-Chili. Lora retired the first 18 batters he faced and struck out 12 hitters on 91 pitches. Ned LaDuca singled in Jason Nau in the fourth inning to extend the Spencerport Rangers’ lead to 5-0. LaDuca had two RBI and a run scored in four at-bats. Nau singled twice, tripled, drew a walk, drove in a run and crossed the plate once. Nathan Hueber and Colton VanBrederode both recorded two hits, an RBI and a run scored. Hueber drew a pair of walks. For Gates-Chili, Devin Gerogetti pitched 5 2/3 innings and struck out seven batters on 100 pitches.

Ryan Judd doubled to right field to drive in Tyler Henshaw and Devyn Scheidt in the second inning as Brockport bounced back to defeat Greece Arcadia. Troy Leibert manufactured a run with a suicide squeeze in the fifth inning to score Sam Velletri. Judd, Scheidt, Velletri and CJ Wiest all had a hit for the Brockport Blue Devils. Sonny Mangini hurled 5 1/3 innings of one-run ball, allowed five hits, three walks and struck out eight batters on 85 pitches. Nick Johnson came in relief and closed the game with 1 2/3 scoreless innings. For Greece Arcadia, Spencer Phillips singled, doubled and laid down a sacrifice bunt. Sam Carducci, Evan Caufield, Travers MacNeal and Nathan Yantz all collected a hit. Kyle Blum threw a complete game on 87 pitches, allowed one earned run, four hits and struck out two batters.

Cooper Crunick pitched a complete game as Canandaigua (7-0) remained undefeated on the season. The senior right-hander allowed one run on four hits, three walks and struck out eight batters on 101 pitches. At the dish, Crunick went 1-for-2 with a walk, an RBI and a run scored. Joe Brinza and Luke Pawlicki both drove in a pair of runs. Brinza singled in all three of his at-bats and crossed the plate twice. Pawlicki collected two RBI singles in three at-bats. Seth Vigneri was 2-for-3 with a pair of runs scored. For Churchville-Chili, Joey Puglia singled to left field to drive in a run the top of the sixth inning. Johnny Bagley, Jake Caroll and Amaury Samalot all had a hit.

Griffin DellaPenna doubled and drove in Taiyo Iburi-Bethel and Sam Sallome to ignite a nine-run ninth inning for Batavia. Jake Humes sent the game into extra innings with a sacrifice fly to score Iburi-Bethel in the top of the seventh. Andrew Francis came in relief and pitched three innings of one-hit ball and a strikeout to earn the victory. Despite allowing three runs in the second inning, Alex Hale settled down to go four innings and struck out eight batters. At the plate, the starting pitcher collected a hit in four at-bats. DellaPenna, Humes and Sallome both drove in two runs. Sallome collected a pair of hits and stole three bases while Humes doubled. Iburi-Bethel singled, stole a pair of bases and crossed the plate four times. Trevor Zewan doubled for his lone hit in three at-bats. Odyssey starter Korey Canton struck out 14 over seven innings of work. The Leopards manufactured three runs on two walks, a single and a double and held a 3-0 lead through four innings.

Honeoye Falls-Lima erupted for nine runs in the first inning, seven in the third and seven more in the seventh. Junior Hayden Smith was 4-for-5 with a double, a triple and five RBI. Making his varsity debut, freshman Xavier Carbonel went 3-for-4 with a double and five RBI. The Honeoye Fall-Lima Cougars improved their record to 6-0, including 2-0 in league play.

Trailing 1-0 going into the top of the second inning, Webster Thomas collected six hits and scored six runs to take a 6-1 lead. Senior Caden Hann doubled to lead off the frame and scored on an error. Jake Canfield and Greyson McDonnell both singled and Ian McNabb’s RBI fielder’s choice gave the Webster Thomas Titans a 2-1 lead. Mitchell Kelly’s RBI single, Jim Marasco’s two-run double and Sam DeGrace’s RBI single made it 6-1 in favor of the Titans. Irondequoit trimmed the score to 6-4 in the bottom of the fifth inning with a two-run double by senior Nicholas Serce. Titans’ senior pitcher Devin Mulcahy ended the threat with a strikeout to strand a pair of baserunners. Mulcahy sparked a two-run seventh inning with an RBI double. McDonnell added another RBI single for an 8-4 lead. The Irondequoit Eagles attempted a rally in the bottom of the frame, but Marasco closed the door. Mulcahy threw five innings of three-run ball, allowed four hits and struck out four batters to earn the win. Marasco pitched the last two innings to get the save. The senior right-hander allowed two hits and struck out four batters. For Irondequoit, Chad Gartland struck out nine batters in 6 1/3 innings. The senior pitcher gave the Eagles the lead with an RBI double in the first inning.

Brighton scored nine unanswered runs, including seven in the sixth and seventh innings combined, to defeat Pittsford Sutherland in consecutive games. Ryan Watson hurled a complete game, allowed four hits, two walks and struck out four batters. At the dish, Watson doubled, singled and scored a run in his five at-bats. Nick Stodgell was 3-for-3 with a pair of RBI and two runs scored. Chase Seibold went 1-for-3 with an RBI. For Pittsford Sutherland, Connor Fitzsimmons, John Messina, Nick Provenzale and Torin Wilcox all had a hit. Sophomore Keeghan Cummings scored on an error in the first inning.

Victor bounced back after four consecutive losses over spring break to win its second straight league game over Rush-Henrietta. Drew Delaney threw a complete game shutout, striking out seven batters and allowed only three hits. Santino Rosso led the game off with a triple and scored on a sacrifice fly by Ryan Lukas. Lukas drove in a run on a single in the fourth inning as well. Dale Turner was 2-for-3. For Rush-Henrietta, Daniel Tirabassi went 2-for-3. The Victor Blue Devils turned two double plays. The Blue Devils improve their record to 4-4 overall and 4-0 in league play. Victor will travel to Basket Road Park on Friday to take on Webster Thomas at 4:30 PM.

WEBSTER SCHROEDER 5
Fairport rallied for three runs in the top of fifth inning for the victory. Trailing 5-4, Will McFarlane led off the frame with a single and scored on a Nolan Hicks RBI base knock. With the bases juiced and nobody out, Aaron Jenks drew a walk to bring in the go-ahead run and give the Fairport Red Raiders a lead they did not relinquish. Although Ryan Smith grounded into a double play, Hicks crossed the plate for an insurance run and a 7-5 edge. Danny Guichard worked around a hit by pitch and induced three groundouts to close the game and earn the save. Peyton Olinski finished a home run shy of the cycle, drove in a pair of runs and crossed the plate once. Parker Houde, Jenks and McFarlane all had two hits apiece. Jenks scored two runs and Houde and McFarlane one. Hicks, Tyler Holmes and Ryan Smith all had a hit and an RBI. Josh Van Bramer struck out six batters in three innings. For Webster Schroeder, junior Jack vonAhnen launched a two-run homer to right field to take a 4-3 lead. Senior Jayson Turner singled in all three of his at-bats and drove in Nick Vogt as part of a four-run second inning. Jack Willard struck out five batters in four innings.

Franklin scored five runs in both the first and third innings. Julian Cotto and Greiram Ramos both had a hit and scored a pair of runs. Ramos drove in two runs and stole four bases. Cotto stole a pair of bases and drove in a run. Junior Angel DeJesus drew two walks, stole a pair of bases and crossed the plate twice. Freshman Callan Reddington pitched three innings and struck out four batters.

Dom Quartaro doubled, drove in a pair of runs and crossed the plate once to lead Geneva. Luke Lawson was 3-for-5 with an RBI and four runs scored. Nick Francheschi, Nick King and Matthew Pierce all had two hits. Francheschi and King both scored two runs and Pierce one. King and Pirce both drove in a run. Pierce doubled twice as well. Henry Loudon drew a pair of walks, stole a base and scored two runs. Nick Comatis, Wyatt Patchett, Sam Puma, Michael Richardson, Bryant Santiago and Jamie Wooster each collected a hit. Puma and Santiago both stole a base. Richardson and Santiago both doubled.

The Marcus Whitman Wildcats surged to a 5-0 lead after two innings. Naples responded with three runs in both the third and fifth frames to take a 6-5 edge. Marcus Whitman rallied for four runs in the bottom of the fifth inning to take a lead they did not relinquish. Carson Miller went 1-for-3 with a pair of RBI to lead Marcus Whitman to its first win of the season. The sophomore drew a pair of walks, stole two bases and scored three runs. Senior Dylan Howell tripled among his two hits in four at-bats, drove in a run and crossed the plate twice. Kyle Copper went 2-for-3 with a walk and two RBI. The senior right-hander earned the save, pitching two innings, allowing an unearned run, a pair of walks and four strikeouts. Junior pitcher Christian Daniels earned the win. For Naples, Nick Clearman homered, drove in two runs, stole a pair of bases and crossed the plate twice in four at-bats. The senior catcher threw out two runners on the basepaths. Freshman Ryan Lester was 3-for-3 with two RBI. Senior Nick Green went 1-for-3 with a walk, five stolen bases and two runs scored.

Honeoye scored all five runs in the fourth through sixth innings. For Bloomfield, Sam Brocklebank and Trevor Robinson both had a hit. Brocklebank stole a base. Gabe Ward drew a pair of walks. Evan Miller drew a walk as well.

Travis Hill went 5 1/3 innings to earn the win for Red Jacket. The junior pitcher allowed five hits and struck out seven batters. Senior second baseman Seth Gerlock singled twice in four at-bats. Daltyn Hanline, Jarrett LeGault and Caleb Selover all singled. LeGault stole three bases. For Midlakes, Devin Hicks hit his first varsity home run in the opening frame. The senior infielder doubled, drove in two runs and went 3-for-4 at the dish. Junior pitcher Sam Day hurled six innings, allowed four hits and struck out nine batters. “Midlakes errors accounted for four of Red Jackets’ five runs, leaving Sam Day as the hard luck loser on the mound,” Midlakes head coach Jeff Maher commented after the game.

South Seneca surged for six runs in the second inning and five more in the fifth. Freshman Ben Jessop collected three RBI singles, drew a walk and scored a run. Chris Lucas, Kyle Shields and Nicholas Twardeski all had two hits and two RBI. Twardeski scored three runs and Lucas and Sheilds two apiece. Senior Spencer John tripled, singled, drove in Twardeski in the bottom of the fifth inning and scored a run. Sophomore Lukas Day went five innings, allowed two unearned runs, two hits, two walks and struck out five batters on 87 pitches.

Harley-Allendale-Columbia banged out 15 hits and scored in five of six innings to earn its fourth win of the season. Freshman Alex Sassaman led the way, going 4-for-5 with five runs scored. Ben Friedberg delivered four hits and five RBI. Jake Dockum and Max Kreckel both drove in three runs. Cai Rogers and Henry Nicosia both collected two hits. For Clyde-Savannah, sophomore Steven Dunn drove in four runs and crossed the plate three times. Senior shortstop Jake Geil had two hits and a pair of runs scored. Hunter Donselaar was 2-for-2 with two runs scored and three RBI.

Trailing 2-1 after two innings, Gananda scored nine unanswered runs, including four in both the third and sixth frames. Tim McClare and Zach Valetta both collected two hits and a pair of RBI. McClare scored a run. Jayden Castrechini, Zach Ciprich, Christian Clarq and Patrick Walsh all had a hit. Ciprich scored three runs and Walsh crossed the plate once. After allowing two runs in the second inning, McClare settled down to pitch 6 1/3 innings, allowed a pair of hits, five walks and struck out 13 batters. For Williamson, Adam Fisk struck out eight hitters in four innings. Lucas Jackson and Marty Williams had the team’s only hits of the game. Jackson and James Williams both drew a walk and scored a run.

Keshequa scored three runs in the top of the seventh inning and held on for the road win. Junior Hunter Stephens led off the frame with a walk and scored on an Aidan Wood RBI infield single. Senior Thomas Hackett gave the Keshequa Indians insurance with a two-run single to drive in Aidan Wood and Pat Wood. In the bottom of the seventh inning, junior right fielder Bryce Borden threw out a runner at home to assist Aidan Wood, who pitched 2 2/3 frames to close the game and earn the save. Aidan Wood singled twice, doubled and scored two runs in his five at-bats. Pat Wood singled twice and drove in Joe Colombo to tie the game at four in the fifth inning. Riley Rease and Parker McTarnaghan both had a hit. Rease scored a run. For Geneseo, Evan Salvaggio doubled and drove in a pair of runs in his four at-bats. Russell Brownell, Luke Harris and Liam Miskell all had two hits. Brownell and Harris both drove in a run. Brownell crossed the plate three times and Harris and Miskell once. Jake Hamilton went 1-for-4.

Jake Smith hurled four innings of two-hit ball to pick up the win, and Livonia improved to 9-0. The sophomore pitcher was 3-for-3 at the dish. Noah Fasso hurled the last two innings and struck out three batters. At the plate, the junior pitcher went 2-for-2 with a triple and four RBI. Junior AJ Davin had 2 hits with an RBI. Senior Jason Dutra went 2-for-3.

Dansville scored eight runs over the final three innings to pull away for the win. For Caledonia-Mumford, junior Adam O’Donoghue went 2-for-2 a double, a walk and a pair of RBI. Senior Jake Burnett was 2-for-2 with a walk and a run scored. Joe Laursen and Ethan Pies both had a hit. Pies stole a pair of bases and scored a run. Junior Troy Kolb struck out five batters in 3 2/3 innings.

Pavilion rallied for four runs in the bottom of the sixth inning for the win. Liam Raines, Clay Swearingen and Cole Tillotson all had two hits and a pair of runs scored. Tillotson doubled and drove in two runs. Swearingen stole three bases and drew two walks. Evan Amberger, Keith Muckle and Zach Weidrich all collected a hit. Amberger stole two bases and drew a walk. Muckle doubled and walked. Weidrich drew a walk, laid down a sacrifice bunt and scored a run. On the mound, Weidrich struck out seven batters in 5 2/3 innings on 105 pitches.

Wayland-Cohocton rallied from an early 3-0 deficit for seven runs in the third and fourth innings combined. For Letchworth, senior Nate Thompson went 1-for-1 with a stolen base, a walk and two RBI. Junior Brett Vasile was 1-for-3 with a stolen base, an RBI and a run scored. Will Bean doubled, stole a base and scored a pair of runs. Junior pitcher Will Shearing struck out four batters in two innings.

Trailing 1-0, Batavia-Notre Dame exploded for 10 runs in the second through fourth innings. Senior Lucas Calarco was 2-for-4 with a double, four RBI and a run scored. Zachary Cocking doubled twice, drove in two runs and scored a run in five at-bats. Senior Tim Klotzbach was 2-for-3 with a double, a walk, a stolen base and three runs scored. Andrew Moore and Tyler Totten both had a hit, an RBI and a run scored. Totten stole a base. Moore drew a walk and laid down a sacrifice bunt. Alex Totten was 2-for-3 with a walk and two runs scored. On the mound, Cocking hurled six innings of one-run ball, allowed one hit, a walk and struck out four batters on 72 pitches.

Arkport-Canaseraga won on a walk-off in the bottom of the seventh inning to offset a seven-run rally by Avoca in the top of the frame. Junior Kobi Theilen went 1-for-2 with three walks and two RBI. Seth Harrison and Jake Merry both collected a hit and an RBI. Patrick Aini and Garrett Stuckey both had a hit. Stuckey doubled, drew three walks, stole a base scored three runs. Aini drew a walk and scored a run. On the mound, Harrison pitched 6 2/3 innings and struck out eight batters.

Alexander used a five-run third inning to hold off Attica. Hayden Walton doubled and drove in three runs. Ryan Davis and Tyrone Woods, Jr. both had two hits and a pair of RBI. Woods doubled, drew two walks, stole two bases scored a pair of runs and Davis crossed the plate once. Adam Hess drew two walks, stole a base and scored three runs. On the mound, Woods pitched 6 1/3 innings, allowed five hits, three walks and struck out 12 batters on 100 pitches. Jacob Farnsworth and Evan Whitmore both collected a hit in four at-bats.

Nevin Allen and Laertes Cushing both collected a hit. Cushing stole a base and scored two runs. On the mound, Tormey went the distance, allowing one walk and striking out 11 batters.
