The senior guard scored 11 in the second quarter as the Spartans opened a double-digit advantage at 32-18. Adam Williams finished with 13 points and 12 rebounds on the night. Turner Harris scored nine. Casey Herod paced Canandaigua with 20, and Ryan Welch added 16. Chris Kurowski had seven points for the Braves. Canandaigua outscored G-C 17-15 in the third quarter. Tyquil Glasgow and De’Vante Mateo poured in 30 points apiece to lead Monroe. The duo combined for 16 points in the second quarter when the Red Jackets outscored WOI 22-12 to take a 40-25 lead at the half. The effort marked a career-high for Glasgow. Mateo scored a career-high 31 in Monroe’s victory over Canandaigua this past Saturday. Mateo converted 10 of 16 free throws in Thursday’s contest. WOI’s Tremier Dollar posted a career-high with 40 points. The senior captain accounted for 15 in the fourth quarter. Dollar scored 35 points in a loss to Penn Yan earlier in the week.
