Wednesday Wrap: Spencerport runs undefeated string to eight; VanKerkhove delivers for Irondequoit

GREECE ODYSSEY 1
Garrick Havens netted a golden goal in the second overtime, and Batavia handed Odyssey its first loss in divisional play. Andreas Mateos assisted on the game winner. Jacob Torcello gave the Blue Devils a 1-nil advantage in the 27th minute with an assist from Matt Grover. Dylan Ange and Parker Ange combined to level the match for Odyssey in the 38th minute.

PITTSFORD-MENDON 0
Dylan McDermott collected a goal and an assist. Victor Alongi, Othman Belhseine and CJ Takatch contributed a marker apiece. Eric Hurley, Mark Maio and Eric Hurley each had an assist.

GATES-CHILI 2
SPENCERPORT 7
Justin Hockenberger scored twice. Gino Pellett, Max LaRosa and Vinca Ranieri added a goal apiece as Spencerport grabbed a 5-1 lead at halftime. The Rangers are undefeated in their last eight games.

FAIRPORT 0
WEBSTER SCHROEDER 0
Faiport (9-2-2/5-2-1) played to its second scoreless tie in the last three games. The Red Raiders have not allowed a goal in the last three games and have outscored opponents 15-6 this season. Schroeder is 6-5-1 on the season 2-5-1 in Monroe County Division I.

PITTSFORD SUTHERLAND 1 Connor McQuillan and Sam O’Connor had a goal and an assist apiece. Roman Storozynsky added a goal for Brighton (No. 14 NYSSWA Class A 9-4-0/5-2-0). Caio De Medeiros added an assist for the Barons. will Bowen scored for Sutherland.

Hunter Kassel scored twice including the game winner in the first overtime. Cory Meintel assisted on Kassel’s golden goal. Jason Pike also had an assist for the Royal Comets. Jack Cowles scored for Victor with an assist from Alex Crane.

Tyler Daly netted a second-half tally with an assist from Luke Leach as Brockport rallied for the tie. Tyler Lewandowski gave Arcadia a lead in the 11th minute. Cameron Misiurewicz assisted on the play.

CHURCHVILLE-CHILI 9
CANANDAIGUA 1

Mario Cozzo matched a Churchville-Chili program with four goals, and the Saints (11-2-0/7-1-0) won for the 11th time in their last 12 games. Dylan Rippe added two goals and an assist. Seamus Parker collected three helpers. Luke Abraham, Gabe Correia and Andrew Vannest scored a goal apiece. Alex Blondale had two assists. Abraham, Colby Egan and Gaven Egan each had an assist. Jon Herrick scored an unassisted goal for Canandaigua. The Braves (5-6-1) had allowed nine goals in their previous 11 games combined.

Keegan VanKerkhove snapped a 1-1 tie in the 49th minute. Caleb Felton gave Irondequoit a 1-0 lead late in the first half when he redirected a Nathan Ritchie corner kick. Zach Wolfe leveled the match for Thomas with 33:47 remaining in the match.

Justin Arilotta netted his eighth goal of the season, and Hilton (No. 5 NYSSWA Class AA) clinched at least a share of the Monroe County Division I title. Noah Malta assisted on the play. The Cadets improved to 11-0-1/8-0-0.
