Weekend Wrap: Aden Forcier, Caleb McDonough, Gaven Egan and Tyler Uvieno have the golden touch; Wayne wins seventh straight

PITTSFORD SUTHERLAND 4
Dylan Kladstrup scored two goals and added two assists as Pittsford Sutherland (8-4-0/4-3-0) won its third straight game. Niklas Riewe and Aidan Pellegrino both chipped in with a goal. Will Bowen had two assists. The shutout was Sutherland’s sixth this season and second straight.

Gaven Egan scored with an assist from his brother Colby Egan in the first overtime, and Churchville-Chili responded to a defeat last time out. Colby Egan opened the scoring for C-C with an assist from Andrew Vannest. Vannest added the Saints second goal. Alex Blondale assisted on the play. Churchville had its nine-game winning streak snapped in a loss to Spencerport on Thursday.

FAIRPORT 0
Two of Section V’s best defensive squads played to a scoreless draw. The clean sheet was the sixth this season for Spencerport (7-3-1/5-1-0) which has allowed three goals in its last eight games. Fairport (8-2-1/5-2-0) also has six shutouts this season and has outscored opponents 13-6.

PITTSFORD-MENDON 4
Four different players found back of the net, and Mendon (5-6-0/1-6-0) snapped a three-game slide. Matt Bamford, Hayden Fleck, Alex Morley and Pierce VanBenthuysen scored a goal apiece. Morley added an assist along with Jeremiah Anandarajah. Jackson Vogt scored twice for Penfield and added an assist. Ethan Jones had a goal for the Patriots. Milton Birmajer chipped with an assist.

Aden Forcier scored an unassisted goal in the first overtime for Canandaigua (4-5-1).

McQUAID 3
Dan Malloy nodded home the equalizer with 5:46 left on the clock and assisted on the game winner less than two minutes later to cap a dramatic McQuaid comeback. READ MORE.

Tyler Uvieno netted a golden goal in the first overtime, and Perry (7-4-0) won its fifth straight game. The shutout was the fifth this season for Perry which has allowed two goals in its last six games.

Ethan Grover scored the game winner in the 64th minute to lead Letchworth/Warsaw. Grover added an assist on a Cedric Aschwanden tally in the 25th minute. Nik Eustace also had an assist. Matt Wilson scored the lone Holley goal with an assist from Nathan Nothnagle.

Josh Eigbrett scored the game winner in the 73rd minute. Cam Salivati assisted on the play. Michael Welch tallied the first Avon goal with an assist from Sean Cochrane. David Domina scored the lone Wheatland-Chili marker.

Matt Gentile and Nathan McKenna scored two goals apiece as Wayne (9-1-1) won its seventh straight game. The Eagles have five shutouts over that stretch. Cullen Bock added a goal and three assists. Dylan Cook, Devin LaDue and Ryan Welch added a goal apiece. James Flannery, Ryan Huss, Justin Jantzi and Colby Mitchell added an assist apiece.

Jake Gallina collected two goals and had three assists to lead Pal-Mac. Nick Sapienza and Jace Schafer added a goal and an assist apiece. Aidan Quinn had a goal and an assist.

Alessandro Sozzani tallied both Jasper-Troupsburg goals. Aaron Flint had one assist.
