Vogts lead Gold Rush; Harisis and Hann get Orange off the schneid

Caden Hann (Webster Thomas) picked up his first win of the season and added a pair of insurance runs as DI Orange won its first game. Hann started and allowed two runs on three hits over three innings. The right-hander struck out five and walked eight. With Orange leading 4-3 in the sixth, Hann plated Andrew Sanchez (Rush-Henrietta) and Jim Marasco (Webster Thomas) with a double into left center.

Walker Wright (Rush-Henrietta) allowed one run on one hit over three innings, and Gregory Romero (Monroe  High) closed out the game with a scoreless frame. Shane Harisis (Eastridge) went 2-for-3 with a pair of doubles, an RBI and a run scored. Hann was 2-for-3 with a run scored. Romero had two hits and scored a run. Wright and Korey Canton (Greece Odyssey) had a hit and scored a run apiece.

Wright added an RBI. Brennen Johnson (School of the Arts) finished 2-for-3 with a double, triple and two RBI to lead DI Green. Nick Bovee (Brighton) tripled, had two hits, scored a run and drove in another. Wes Colucci (Churchville-Chili) singled and scored a run.

DI RED 3
DI GOLD 7
Trailing early, DI Gold sent nine to the plate and scored three runs in the third and went on to win its fourth straight game. Alex Vogt (Webster Schroeder) started the rally with the first of five base hits in the frame. Nick Vogt (Webster Schroeder), Jorge Oropeza (Greece Athena) and Drew HerrNeckar (Hilton) collected an RBI apiece. Jacob Canfield (Webster Thomas) started and struck out two over two innings and picked up the win.

Jacob Keller (Churchville-Chili) hurled two shutout innings in relief, and Alex Vogt allowed one run on three hits over three innings to close the game. Alex Vogt had two hits including a triple. Nick Vogt singled, walked, scored twice and drove in another. Tanner Frank (Brighton) went 2-for-3 with two RBI and a run scored. Thompson was 2-for-2.

Dylan Mackenzie (Canandaigua) and Josh Ferris (Churchville-Chili) drove in a run apiece as DI Red took a 2-0 lead in the first inning. Chris Sleeper (Rush-Henrietta) finished 2-for-3 with a run scored. Gavin Moore (Hilton) and Dan Tirabassi (Rush-Henrietta) both walked and scored a run.
