DI Gold sent nine to the plate and took advantage of two errors and five wild pitches to score five runs and erase a two-run deficit in their final at bat. Gold scored four runs after two outs. Nick Vogt (Webster Schroeder) brought home the first run of the inning with a sacrifice fly. Tanner Frank (Brighton) kept the rally going with a single, and Jorge Oropeza (Greece Athena) made it stick as he set down the side in order in the bottom of the inning to pick up the win. After struggling in the sixth when he allowed two runs on three hits, Oropeza needed just 10 pitches in the seventh.

The right-hander struck out a pair and induced a routine fly ball for the final out of the game. Vogt finished 2-for-2 in the game. Andrew Wallman (Faiport) was 1-for-2 with a walk, an RBI and a run scored. Jack Willard (Webster Schroeder) was 2-for-2 in the game. Anthony Bonacci (Greece Athena) singled, scored a run and drove in another. Frank started and scattered three hits over three shutout stanzas. The right-hander struck out three, walked one and faced 12 batters.

Caleb Richardson (Greece Athena) struck out three over two innings of work.
Korey Canton (Greece Odyssey) and Walker Wright (Rush-Henrietta) combined to collect five hits and produce four runs. Wright’s one-out RBI triple gave DI Orange a 2-1 lead in the sixth. Canton followed with a broken-bat RBI base hit. Wright went 3-for-3 on the night. Canton was 2-for-2 with a walk and a run scored. Shane Harisis (Eastridge) was 2-for-3 with a walk. Jake Veniskey (Webster Thomas) drove in a run with a single. Jim Marasco (Webster Thomas) and Max Stuver (McQuaid) added a single apiece. Wright allowed two hits over three shutout innings of relief. Gregory Romero (James Monroe) struck out one and hurled a scoreless inning.

DII RED 3
DII Red sent six to the plate and scored three runs in the sixth inning to come from behind for the victory. Tyler Cerame (Hilton) and Jack Zawacki (Pittsford Sutherland) worked back-to-back walks to start inning. Paul Conroy (Bishop Kearney) brought home the first run of the inning with a ground ball to the right side of the infield. Zawacki and Mark Veerkamp (Webster Thomas) later scored in the inning. Chase Playfair (Penfield) fanned four over two shutout innings of relief to pick up the win.

The right-hander threw 34 pitches (20 strikes) and faced just one batter over the minimum. Christian Brown (Victor) started and set down four on strikes over three scoreless frames. Jacob Jones (Avon) plated Carlos Fantauzzi (Canandaigua) and Preston Foryt with a two-out single to spot DII Blue a 2-0 lead in the fourth inning.

Ian McNabb (Webster Thomas) was 2-for-2 with a walk for Blue. AJ DeBalso (Canandaigua) started, allowed one hit and hurled three shutout innings. McNabb struck out three over two scoreless frames.
