LEWISBURG, Pa. — Former Bucknell men’s basketball standout Nana Foulland ’18 is headed to Israel for his first full-time professional playing opportunity. Foulland will debut with Ironi Nahariya of the Israeli Winner League, which is the nation’s top level of basketball. The club finished 13-20 last season, placing ninth in the 12-team league.
Foulland, a 6’10” center, recently played with the Minnesota Timberwolves in the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas. He was a three-time All-Patriot League selection and captured the 2017 Patriot League Player of the Year and 2018 Patriot League Scholar-Athlete of the Year awards. Foulland graduated with 1,754 points, fourth-most in school history and most among all active college centers last season. He also graduated ranked third in Bucknell history in blocked shots (212), fifth in rebounds (907) and third in field-goal percentage (.579).
As a senior, Foulland averaged a career-high 15.2 points per game along with 7.0 rebounds and 1.7 blocks per game. He ranked fifth in the Patriot League in scoring, third in rebounding, fourth in field-goal percentage, and second in blocked shots.
