Haverling stomped their neck on Palmyra’s throat and kept it there for pretty much the whole game as they scored all fifteen of their runs in the first five innings, including an 8-run fifth to cap off the rout. The Eagles scored all four of their runs in the second inning as after Jones drove in Young with a single, Westbrook mashed a 1-0 pitch over the left field fence to extend the lead in the very next at bat.
