Ben Beauchamp paced a 17-hit attack with a double and home run, but the Jesuit Knights could not hold on to seventh-inning lead. One of six Jesuit Knights with multiple hits in the game, Beauchamp finished 4-for-5 on the day with an RBI and three runs scored. Charlie Merkley went 3-for-5 with an RBI and a run scored. Drew Bailey had two hits including a double, drove in two runs and scored another. Ryan O’Mara was 2-for-4 with a double, an RBI and two runs scored. Noah Campanelli and AJ Fina both drove in two runs. Fina scored twice. Campanelli crossed the plate once. McQuaid (12-5) led 12-9 going into the bottom of the seventh.

Nick Serce drilled a 2-run home run to center field in the first inning, and Jackson DeJohn added a 3-run home run to left field in the third inning to power visiting Irondequoit. Will Porter finished the day 2-for-3 with an RBI and two runs scored for the Eagles. Chris Butler fanned five and hurled a complete game 2-hitter. Jayden Fayad collected both of Eastridge’s hits.

Pat Sherron struck out four and allowed five hits for the complete game victory. The sophomore is 4-1 on the season. Frank McCabe, AJ Nestler, Raymond Specht and Sherro collected two hits apiece for the Royal Comets (9-6/4-4). David Stirpe was 2-for-4 with a double for Hilton.

Joey Puglia hurled a complete-game 1-hitter and took a perfect game into the seventh inning. Puglia struck out 12 in the win. Ethan Putney drove in five with two hits for the Saints. Jake Carroll had three hits. Franklin’s Frankie Santiago broke up the perfect game with a triple in the seventh inning. Frankie Santiago sets Section V stolen base record.

Hunter Mazur tossed a complete game 1-hitter in the opening round of Batavia Rotary Tournament. Griffin DellaPenna finished 2-for-3 with two RBI and two runs scored. Jordyn Schmidt was 1-for-2. Jake Humes drove in two runs with a hit. Taiyo Iburi-Bethel had a hit and scored a run.

Tournament MVP Michael Sculli finished 3-for-3 with two doubles and a triple as well as scoring the winning run, and Canandaigua claimed the championship of the inaugural Maine Event. Cooper Crunick had the game-winning RBI and picked up the win in relief. Dylan Mackenzie drove in a run. Jesus Baez and Thomas Delforte scored a run apiece for the Braves. The win was the eighth straight for Canandaigua (13-3). Andrew Tygart went 2-for-2, and Gavin Lucky had a double for LeRoy. The named was named after longtime volunteer coach Dave Maine.

Kevin Sheppard and Hunter Walsh combined on a 2-hitter, and McQuaid made a third-inning run stand. Sheppard struck out four, walked one and allowed one hit over six innings for the win. Walsh fanned one in a scoreless seventh for the save. Jarrett Odorisi singled and scored on Ben Beauchamp’s two-out base hit for the game’s only run. Noah Campanelli, Tyler Griggs and Tommy Manno had a hit apiece for McQuaid.

Jake Schuler finished 2-for-2 with three RBI and a run scored as Fairport (11-6) won its fourth straight game and eighth out of the last nine. Schuler’s one-out single drove in Tyler Smith with the second of six Fairport runs in the third inning when the Red Raiders erased a four-run deficit and did not trail again. Omar Rosa had two hits and scored twice. Mike Sabatine walked, singled and scored two runs. Teddy Sharman collected two RBI. Tyler Holmes walked twice and crossed home on two occasions. Smith singled, drove in a run and scored another. Spencerport captured the lead in the second inning when Chris Carroll singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs. The Rangers outhit Fairport, 13-8. Joe Moschettieri, Greg Ranieri, Carroll, and Carroll each collected multiple hits for Rangers. Moschettieri led Rangers going 3-for-4.

Schroeder’s Jack Willard started and allowed six hits over eight innings. The junior right-hander struck out seven. Senior Gage Domuracki got the win pitching the ninth with two strike outs and a pop up. Senior Mike Masucci scored the winning run on a passed ball. Masucci walked with two outs, stole second and reached third on a passed ball. Hilton’s Nick Rohloff pitched seven strong innings allowing one unearned run on three hits and three walks. He fanned eight.

Pat Sherron hit a walkoff single with two outs in the bottom of the eighth to drive in Raymond Specht with the winning run. Joey Kench went eight innings for the complete-game victory. He scattered five hits and struck out three. R-H tied the game at two in the bottom of the sixth. AJ Nestler led off with a single, and Andrew Sanchez delivered with an RBI 2-out. Ryan Hill went the distance for Thomas striking out five.

Andrew Westbrook allowed three hits over 5 2/3 innings and Victor improved to 13-5 on the season. Westbrook struck out five and walked two. Ryan Lukas finished 2-for-2 including a run-scoring double when the Blue Devils plated all their runs in the second. Lukas brought home Zack Carpin and later scored on an Owen Delforte base hit. Brandon Meeks struck out two of the four batters he faced to pick up the save. Arcadia scored on a Justin Augustine solo home run in the first inning. Drew Southcott was 2 for 3 for Arcadia.

Nico Aagesen finished 3-for-4 with a double, triple, four RBI and two runs scored to lead Brighton. Ryan Watson was 3-for-4 with two doubles, four RBI and a run scored. Trent Wasserman doubled, had two hits, drove in two and scored twice. Daniel Cook, Lucas Dorsey and Chase Semibold scored two runs apiece for the Barons. Wasserman allowed three runs (two earned) on two hits over four innings for the win. Wasserman struck out eight and walked two. Olympia’s Jack Berbert went 3-for-3 with two RBI.

Cole Penders finished 2-for-3 with four RBI and a run scored. Gordon Fisher tripled twice and scored two runs. Sam Velletri and Joshua Keenan scored three runs apiece for the Blue Devils. HF-L’s Hayden Smith went 2-for-3 with a double, two runs scored and an RBI.

Nick Serce added an insurance run in the seventh. Gates-Chili’s Alex Scalone went 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored in a 3-run G-C fourth.

Griffin Yastrzemski was 3-for-4 with a double and three RBI for the Bath-Haverling.

Five Reds finished with multiple hits on the night as Newark jumped to an early lead and cruised past the division leaders. Lucas DeVito led the way going 3-for-4 with two doubles and four RBI. Cade Murray had two hits in four at bats including a double. Murray drove in a run. Alex Caraballo was 2-for-3 with an RBI. Marcel Greene-DeSouza tripled, had two hits and collected an RBI. Ben Cowles was 2-for-3 with two stolen bases. Cowles struck out nine over five innings of work on the mound for the win. The University of Maryland commit scattered six hits and walked one. DeVito worked the sixth and the seventh. Newark (13-5/9-3) scored twice in the first and added three runs in the second. They led 10-0 after five innings. Mike Deckert finished 2-for-3 for Midlakes (11-5/10-2). Devin Kelly was 1-for-3.

Ross Janezic finished 3-for-3 with a double, three runs scored and two RBI to lead SOTA (9-5). Miguel Made doubled twice and scored two runs for the Silverhawks. Alfredo Aponte collected two walks, a hit and three runs. David Fitzgerald and Justice Salamone scored two runs apiece. Aponte threw five innings for the win. Wilson Magnet James Baldrich and Ricky Gamble had a homer apiece. Baldrics added a triple. Gamble scored two runs.

Josh Armstrong finished 4-for-4 including a walk-off base hit as Wayne rallied in its final at bat. Trailing 2-1, Jaiden Burlee led the Wayne seventh with a single. After a Logan Loveless sacrifice bunt, Sean Flannery tied the game with a double. Logan Holgado singled to put runners on the corners, and Armstrong delivered from there. Armstrong doubled twice and had two RBI in the game. Flannery and Holgado both went 2-for-4. Holgado allowed two runs (one earned) on four hits and a walk for the complete-game victory. He struck out four. Griffen Herron finished 2-for-3 with a double and a run scored to lead Mynderse. Keegan Baker and Jesse Kabat had an RBI apiece for Mynderse. Rabat scored a run.

Noah Fasso carried a no hitter into the seventh and had to come out due to a stomach ailment Dansville managed one hit. Alex Minnehan, Kyle Feldman, Tavian Hino, Jason Durtra all collected hits for the Bulldogs. Livonia will play Bath-Haverling Monday for the Livingston County AA title. Livonia is seeking its sixth straight title.
