Drew HerrNeckar plated Gavin Moore with a two-out, walk-off double as Hilton (3-3) edged Arcadia. Collin Nelson started and surrendered just two hits over five innings. The sophomore struck out seven and walked two. Josh Battaglia walked one in an inning and a third of relief. David Stirpe worked two-thirds for the win. Moore finished 3-for-4 on the day. The junior outfielder connected on a one-out double to start the winning rally. Battaglia moved the runner with a sacrifice bunt. After Stirpe was walked intentionally, HerrNeckar delivered the game winner. Battaglia went 2-for-3 on the day. John Cavallaro was 2-for-3. Arcadia starter Kyle Blum struck out three and walked two over 6.2 innings of work. Drew Southcott had a hit and a walk for Arcadia (0-4).

Dylan Mackenzie finished 4-for-6 including a single that scored a pair in a six-run second as Canandaigua jumped out to 9-2 lead. Mackenzie had two doubles and drove in seven while scoring four runs. Thomas Delforte started and allowed three runs (one earned) on four hits over four innings for his varsity win. The junior right-hander struck out eight and allowed two walks. Joey Brinza was 4-for-5 with four runs scored. Jordie Johnstone had two hits and scrored three runs. Andrew Dixon drove in two with two hits. Odyssey’s Brandyn Sigouin was 2-for-3 with two runs scored and an RBI. Jonah Holloway had a triple, two RBI and a run scored.

WEBSTER SCHROEDER 5
Drew Delaney struck out six and walked one over six and a third to improve to 3-0 on the season. Ryan Lukas was 3-for-5 with an RBI. Nate Hampson went 2-for-4 with an RBI. Sam DiGiacomo and Owen Delforte collected a triple apiece for Victor (4-3). Schroeder fell to 4-1. Victor rallied from 4-1 down after four innings for its third straight win.

Casey Saucke finished 4-for-5 with a walk, two doubles and a triple to lead Athena (3-1). The freshman infielder tripled and scored twice in a 13-run second inning. Ryan Ballard homered, collected two hits and scored five runs for the Trojans. Tyler Curtis went 3-for-5 with a walk and three runs scored. Jorge Oropeza doubled twice and scored four runs. Olympia’s Jason LoVullo was 3-for-3 with a home run, double and a run scored. Joey Alphonse went 3-for-4 with a run scored.

Nico Aagesen finished 3-for-5 with two triples and four RBI and Jack Falter was 2-for-5 with three RBI to lead Brighton which finally got to play its first game of the season. Falter doubled home a pair and Aagesen followed with a two-run triple as the Barons scored eight runs in the fifth inning. Trent Wasserman allowed an unearned run on one hit and four walks over three innings for the win. Sam O’Hora was 2-for-3 with two runs scored and an RBI. HF-L’s Owen VanNewkirk had a hit and an RBI.

Patrick Bowes finished 2-for-5 with a pair of doubles, three RBI and a run scored to lead Penfield. AJ Kimmins was 3-for-4 with three RBI and a run scored. Danny Stapleton had three hits in as many bats and scored twice. Gage Ziehl struck out seven and surrendered one hit over five scoreless innings for the win. Andrew Ebersol and Brendan Miller both had two hits and scored twice. Penfield (6-2) sent 13 to the plate in an eight-run second.

Joel Alicea finished 4-for-4 with a triple and seven RBI to lead East High. Jean Carlos Alomar had a grand slam for the Eagles. East scored four runs in the first and five more in the third.
WATERLOO 1

Ezra Maslyn struck out five and walked one over three shutout innings in relief to pick up the win. Maslyn surrendered just one hit. Jordan Maher finished 1-for-2 including the go-ahead single in the fifth. Maher scored two runs and stole two bases. Nate Westbrook singled, stole a base and scored the eventual game winner. Midlakes improved to 4-3 overall and 3-0 in league play. Waterloo’s Ethan Hunt allowed three runs on three hits over six innings. Hunt fanned six. Ken Mattoon had an RBI double.

Alex Savory worked a two-out bases loaded walk to force home the winning run. Vincent Orrange-Paton scattered three hits over eight innings for the win. He struck out four. Gananda’s Tim McClare struck out 11 and allowed one hit over six scoreless innings.

Jason Valentine threw three shutout innings in relief for the win. Daniel Kaye brought home Jordan Lambert with a sacrifice fly for the winning run in the bottom of the sixth. York led 2-1 after four innings. Tim LaGeorge was 2-for 3 with a walk and two runs scored for York.
