Red Jacket sent 10 to the plate and scored four runs in the fourth. The Indians put the game away in the fifth with five more runs for the final margin of victory. Jarrett LeGault had a two-run single, followed by a Travis Liberty RBI double to left. Jake Keeley reached on an error bringing in two more runners, and  Brandon Mott capped the inning with an RBI triple. Mott finished 2-for-4 with three RBI and picked up the win striking out eight. He allowed one run on one hit over three innings. Liberty fanned four over four shutout innings in relief. Marcus Whitman’s Dylan Howell finished 1-for-4 with two RBI. Luke Bassett struck out one and allowed one hit over two innings of work on the mound.

GANANDA 11
LYONS 0
Cody Hill finished 2-for-4 with seven RBI and run scored to lead Gananda (2-0). Jayden Castrechini, Austin Jacobs and Tim McClare all collected two runs apiece. Jacobs and McClare both scored three runs. Castrechini crossed the plate twice. Zach Ciprich struck out 10 over five scoreless innings. He allowed two hits and two walks.

MIDLAKES 9
GENEVA 6
Ezra Maslyn finished 2-for-4 with a walk and three RBI to lead Midlakes (2-3). Devin Kelly was 1-for-3 with two RBI and a walk. Devin Hicks had a hit, two RBI and two walks. Jordan Maher had a hit and two runs scored. Connor Young allowed two unearned runs on three hits over four innings for the win. Young struck out five and walked two.
