Brandon Leibrandt scattered five hits over six shutout innings, and the Lehigh Valley IronPigs defeated the Rochester Red Wings, 3-0 in International league play Saturday at Coca-Cola Park, Sunday.
Leibrandt struck out four and walked two for his first win of the season. The left-hander surrendered a leadoff single to Zack Granite then retired seven of the next eight batters that came to the plate.
Lehigh Valley’s relief corps of Michael Mariot, Jesen Therrien and Pedro Beato worked a perfect inning apiece to keep the shutout in place. Mariot registered his seventh hold of the season while Therrien picked up his second.
Beato struck out one in the ninth for his league-leading 23rd save of the season.
Scott Kingery gave Lehigh Valley (52-31) a lead it did not surrender with a two-out, two-run home run in the fifth. The IronPigs’ leadoff man plated former Red Wing Pedro Florimon with his fourth round-tripper of the season.

J.P. Crawford finished 2-for-4 on the night and added a solo shot, his third home run of the season, in the eighth.
Florimon went 3-for-3 with a double.
Granite led Rochester (43-37) going 2-for-4. The Wings left six runners on base.
David Hurlbut took the loss. The Wings starter allowed three runs on eight hits over seven and two-thirds. Hurlbut struck out nine and walked none. He fell 5-5 on the season.
The two teams complete the four-game set with a 7:05 pm first pitch Monday night.
