ROCHESTER, NY – Left-handed pitcher Hector Santiago and right-handed pitcher Phil Hughes will begin rehab assignments with the Rochester Red Wings on Wednesday, the Minnesota Twins announced.

Santiago will start the game while Hughes will throw in relief. Santiago landed on the Twins 10-day disabled list with a left shoulder strain on June 7 while Hughes has been on the DL since May 22 with right biceps tendon inflammation. Both will play in Rochester as members of the Wings for the first time.
