Penfield 17 Churchville-Chili 2
Logan Martella-Tasick finished 2-for-4 including a home run, five RBI and two runs scored as Penfield, ranked No. 20 NYS Class AA, closed the regular season winning four of five games. Martella-Tasick brought home a run with a sacrifice fly in a four-run first first and connected on a three-run shot in the sixth to pace Penfield (15-5). Paul Cullen doubled, tripled, drove in three runs and scored two for the Patriots. Ryan Kalbfus walked three times and scored four runs. Jack Burke, who delivered a two-out, two-run home run in the bottom of the sixth of Penfield’s 2-0 victory over NYS Class AA No. 1 Webster Schroeder on Monday, had a hit, a walk and scored two runs. Justin Mytych allowed two runs on two hits over four innings for the win. Alex Gorski, Jack DeRue and Kalbfus all tossed a scoreless inning in relief. Three of Penfield’s losses have been by one run.
Canandaigua 8 HF-L 0
Tanner Cooper went 2-for-3 with a double and a home run as Canandaigua, the reigning Class A1 champions, finished the regular season 15-3. READ MORE.

Victor 6 Aquinas 1
Drew Delaney fanned four over four scoreless innings of work, and Victor won its fourth straight game and finished the regular season 11-9. TJ Long struck out three over two scoreless innings in relief. Chris Varone finished 2-for-2 with a run scored. Owen Delforte had a double and two rbi. Zack Carpin, Louie Schafer, Blake Hildman, Nate Hampson all had a hit. Santino Rossi made two great diving plays at shortstop. One day after Wellsville’s Dennie Miles won his 700th career game, Victor’s Sean Rucker claimed the 400th win in his 22-year career at Victor.

Irondequoit 6, Rush Henrietta 3
Irondequoit’s Nick Serce broke open a 1-1 tie in the second inning with a 3-run double and then gave the Eagles some insurance in the fourth with an RBI double scoring AJ Gartland. Chris Butler pitched struck out three and allowed two runs over six innings for the win. R-H’s Zach Harter hit solo home runs in the second and sixth innings. Serce finished 3-for-3 with two doubles, four RBI and two runs scored. Will Porter was 2-for-3 with an RBI. Dan Borg went 2-for-3. Butler connected on an RBI double. Carter was 3-for-3. Irondequoit finished the regular season 8-9. RH is 13-7.
Eastridge 10 Greece Odyssey 9
In the completion of a suspended game, Shane Harisis plated Mandel Green with a one-out walk-off double in the bottom of the ninth. Harisis finished 2-for-5 with two RBI and a run scored. Green had three hits, a walk and three runs scored. Bryan Raforth was 3-for-5 with two RBI for the Lancers. Odyssey’s Jeff Wilson finished 4-for-4 with four doubles and four RBI.
Eastridge 5 Pittsford Sutherland 4
Nick Goodrich-Leach worked a one-out walk and eventually scored on an error as Eastridge notched its second walk-off victory of the day. Goodrich-Leach collected two of the Lancers four hits in the game and allowed one run on two hits in one inning of relief for the win. Nate Richardson led Pittsford Sutherland with four hits in four trips to the plate with two runs scored. Jack Zielinski went 3-for-4 with two doubles and an RBI. Layton Cummings had two hits, two RBI and a run scored.
Fairport 5 Spencerport 2
Tyler Smith allowed two runs (one earned) on six hits over seven innings of work for the win. Smith struck out seven, walked one and threw 89 pitches – 66 for strikes. He threw first-pitch strikes to 24 of 29 batters faced. Tyler Holmes cleared the bases with a two-out double to give the Red Raiders all the runs they needed before Spencerport ever came to the plate. Smith collected two hits and scored one run. Omar Rosa scored two runs. Spencerport’s Joshua Brase was 2-for-3 with two runs scored. Jarod Barnard doubled and drove in two runs.

Pittsford-Mendon 3 Churchville-Chili 2
Mendon took advantage of two errors, and Jared Petrichick came around to score for the Vikings. Nic Fereirra hurled three shutout innings in relief for the win. Petrichick started and allowed two runs on three hits over five innings. Sam Cesura finished 3-for-3 for Mendon. Taylor Genier was 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run. Churchville’s Christian Montanez was 2-for-3 with a run scored.
East Rochester 14 Clyde-Savannah 6
Senior Andrew Chilelli went 3-for-4 with three RBI and a walk as the East Rochester Bombers finished the regular season with a record of 10-5. READ MORE.
