Rush-Henrietta 10 Penfield 9
Lucas Haefner and Chris Reed combined for five hits and five RBI as Rush-Henrietta clinched a tie for the Monroe County Division-1 title. Reed plated two with a two-single in a four-run fourth, and Haefner doubled home a pair in the fifth with a triple. R-H led 10-2 after five innings. Zach Harter doubled, walked and drove in a pair. Jason Bocklage went 2-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored. The Royal Comets improved to 12-6 on the season and 8-2 in D-1. They finished division play tied with Fairport. Penfield’s Noah Wulforst was 3-for-5 with three RBI and two runs scored. Kyle Straube was 3-for-3 with two RBI. Jack Burke, Andrew Ebersol and Logan Martella-Tasick all had two hits apiece for the Patriots (13-5/6-4).
Pittsford-Mendon 6 Pittsford Sutherland 2
Jake Ring finished 2-for-3 including a two-run single to cap a decisive third inning. Ring plated Jordan Petrichick and Cameron Yonda as the Vikings scored four in the frame. George Gines allowed two runs on seven hits over a complete-game effort. He struck out nine and walked one. Gines doubled, scored a run and drove in another. Colin Smith was 2-for-4 with a double and two runs scored. Taylor Genier was 2-for-3 with an RBI.
Canandaigua 8 Churchville Chili 0
Michael Sculli fanned 15 over five innings pitched for Canandaigua (14-3). Tanner Cooper connected on a three-run home run. Seth Vigneri added a two-run single.

Victor 8 Bloomfield 0
Nick Boyer scattered three hits and struck out six for his second win of the season. Blake Hillman paced the Victor offense going 3-for-4 with a double and two RBI. Chris Varone finished 3-for-4 with two runs scored. Ryan Lukas was 3-for-3 with two doubles, two runs scored and an RBI. Spencer McKean was 2-for-3 for Bloomfield. Victor improved to 9-9 while playing six games this week. The Blue Devils will host Churchville-Chili on Monday and Aquinas on Tuesday to complete their 20-game schedule.
Brighton 17 Batavia 7
Jack Shaughnessy led Brighton going 3-for-6 with four RBI and three runs scored. Nico Aagesen 3-for-3 with a triple and three runs scored. Batavia’s Casey Radka was 3-for-4 with two runs scored. Jerry Reinhardt had a double and four RBI.
Webster Thomas 14 Pal-Mac 4
Thomas scored three in the first as Devin Mulcahy had a 2-run single, and Ben Hufland added a sacrifice fly. Liam Doyle sparked a four-run Pal-Mac second with a 2-run triple. The Titans tied it in the third on a Joe Paul RBI single. Mulcahy sparked a 6-run Thomas fourth with a 2-run double. Ethan Maltman added a 2-run single. Paul and Austin Boehlert chipped in run-scoring singles. Damian Wright tripled home a pair in the fifth for the Titans. Singles by Ryan Carragher, Matt Geckle, Justin LaLoggia, and Boehlert led to two Thomas runs in the sixth. Carragher finished 4-for-5 with three runs scored to go with the RBI. Mulcahy drove in four and scored twice with two hit. Paul was 2-for-3 with two RBI and the run scored. Boehlert was 2-for-4. Paul struck out four over five innings for the win.

Vinny Mason stuck out 13 over six innings and Jack Scanlon collected two hits, two runs and three RBI. Trey Brown was 2-for-4 with a double, three runs scored and an RBI. Eastridge’s Nick Goodrich-Leach was 2-for-2 with a run scored.

Honeoye Falls-Lima 5 Eastridge 3 (9 innings)
In the completion of a suspended game, Noah Wheeler capped a two-out rally with a two-run single in the ninth. Carson Correll started the rally with a two-out walk, and Owen VanNewkirk followed with a single. Wheeler brought home the pair with a drive to center field. Cornell finished 2-for-3 with two runs scored. VanNewkirk had three hits in five trips to the plate.
Sodus 3 Lyons 1
Jared Wren struck out 18 and allowed three hits for Sodus over seven complete. Hunter Bastian allowed four hits over six innings with 10 strike outs for Lyons.
FRIDAY
Penfield 7 Fairport 4
Jack Taylor connected on a two-out, two run single in a decisive three-run third, and Penfield went on to win for the sixth time in the last seven games. Justin Harman allowed four runs (three earned) on five hits over six innings for the win. Paul Cullen retired the side in order in the seventh and scored two runs. Noah Wulforst added a two-run home run in the fourth to give Penfield a 6-0 lead. Andrew Ebersol had a solo shot in the fifth. Fairport’s Nick Turturro went 2-for-3 with an RBI and run scored.
Irondequoit 7 Gates Chili 0
Irondequoit’s AJ Gartland pitched a complete game 1-hitter while striking out 14. Gartland also had a bases-clearing double in the fifth inning to break open the game for the Eagles. Nick Serce went 1-for-2 with two runs scored for the Eagles. Will Porter was 1-for-3 with an RBI. Ian Unson had Gates-Chili’s only hit. Irondequoit improved to 7-7. Gates Chili fell to 2-16.
Victor 7 Spencerport 1
Drew Delaney picked up his second win of the season going 6. 2 innings. The sophomore allowed three hits, one earned run and struck out six. Zack Carpin had a two-run double in the second inning to put the Blue Devils up 2-0. Tommy Ryan was 1-for-3 with a double and an RBI. Spencerport’s Aidan Eldridge was 2-for-4 with an RBI. Victor will host Bloomfield at 11am Saturday.

Andrew Cook was 2-for-2 with two runs scored, and DJ Staszak was 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI. Ryan Derleth was 2-for-3 with an RBI for Eastridge.

Josh Simmons finished 2-for-2 with two RBI, and Shane Marshall allowed one run on five hits in complete game effort as Webster Schroeder improved to 19-0 on the season. John Stocum went 2-for-2 with a run scored. Tommy Baxter tripled and scored a run also for the Warriors. Ryan Schmitt went 1-for-3 and drove in the loneHilton run.
Bloomfield 20 Marcus Whitman 10
