Pittsford Sutherland 7 Start HS (OH) 1 from Myrtle Beach, SC
Sophomore John Messina picked up the win scattering five hits without allowing an earned run over 5.1 innings. Junior Jack Bergin collected two hits and scored two runs. Junior Michael Daniele added two hits and an RBI. Junior Layton Cummings drove in two runs. Sutherland finished their week in Myrtle Beach with a record of 3-2.
Victor 3 Bayonne (NJ) 1 from Ripken Experience in Myrtle Beach SC.
Brandon Meeks allowed one run on three hits over 3.2 innings and picked up the win in relief. He struck out three. Owen Delforte worked an inning and a third and earned his first save of the season. Drew Delaney started and threw two shutout innings allowing one hit. Zack Carpin plated the eventual game-winning run with a two-out, two-run single in the bottom of the third. Tommy Ryan finished 2-for-3 with a walk. Left fielder Louie Schafer made a great defensive play on the first batter in the seventh inning when he ran into the wall to catch a line drive. Center fielder TJ Long also made a great catch when he ran down a well-hit ball to deep center to make the final out of the game. Victor improved to 4-2 on the season.

Isaac Nelson was 2-for-4 with four RBI. DJ Staszak reached base three times and scored three runs. Ryan O’Mara earned his first varsity win with a complete game shutout. The Barons improved to 5-1.
Kenosha Indian Trail 3 Canandaigua 1
Brian Hoffman was 1-for-2 with an RBI double for Canandaigua. The Braves fell to 6-2 on the season.
Bay (OH) 4 Fairport 0 from Ripken Experience in Myrtle Beach, SC
Ricky Lipinski finished 3-for-4. Tyler Smith was 2-for-4. Fairport will play St. Edwards (Cleveland, OH) Friday at 9:00 AM. The game will be played at the Ripken Experience in Myrtle Beach, SC.
Shawnee (Medford, NJ) 3 Pittsford Mendon 1
Jared Petrichick finished 2-for-3 on the day. Colin Smith walked and scored Mendon’s only run. Sam Cestra fanned three and allowed three runs (0 earned) on seven hits over five innings. Nic Fereirra worked a scoreless sixth in relief.
Sodus 9 Saquoit Valley 3 from Myrtle Beach, SC
Alex Savory struck out 15 and allowed one run on five hits in a complete-game effort. Savory finished 2-for-5 at the plate. Christopher Sergeant drove in two run going 4-for-4. Daniel Johnson was 2-for-4 with an RBI.
Penfield 3 Skaneateles 2 from Myrtle Beach
Logan Martella-Tasick finished 2-for-3 including a two-out RBI single in the second inning. AJ Kimmins followed Tasick with a two-out RBI single of his own. Andrew Ebersol was 1-for-3 with a double and a run driven in. Justin Harman allowed two runs (one earned) on six hits over 6.1 innings for the win. Alex Gorski recorded a strike out and retired both the batters he faced for the save.

Cole Penders finished 2-for-4 with a double, two RBI and two runs scored. Gordon was 3-for-4 with a double and two RBI. Mike Jamele was 2-for-2 with a walk and a run scored.

Trey Brown went 1-for-2 for the Li’l Irish.
Greece Athena 1 Hilton 0 (suspended-top 4th)
