CHICAGO – Jimmy Butler paced the Bulls (31-30) with 22 points as they defeated Golden State (50-11). The Warriors dropped back-to-back regular-season games for the first time since April 5th and 7th, 2015, at San Antonio and New Orleans. Bobby Portis recorded a double-double (17 points and 13 rebounds) for Chicago. Stephen Curry led the Warriors with 23 points and Klay Thompson added 13 points.
Portland Trail Blazers 114 Oklahoma City Thunder 109
PORTLAND – Damian Lillard led the Blazers (25-35) in the scoring department (33 points) as they survived on their home court to beating the Thunder (35-26) last night. C.J. McCollum and Jusef Nurkic added 18 points for Portland. Russell Westbrook scored 45 on 12-of-36 shooting for the Thunder, who had their four-game winning streak snapped. Oklahoma City newcomer Taj Gibson dished 15 points, including a high-arching buzzer-beater from 61 feet away to put the Thunder up 60-57 at halftime.
Phoenix Suns 120 Charlotte Hornets 103
PHOENIX – Marquese Chriss scored 17 points and the Phoenix Suns (19-42) shot a season-best 59.7 percent from the field Thursday night in a 120-103 victory over the Hornets. T.J. Warren added 16 points and Devin Booker finished with 15 points. Kemba Walker led the Hornets (26-35) with 26 points. He also had eight assists and four rebounds.
