Section Five Roundup: Brockport gets double vision; R-H wins fourth straight

Jonathan Jones connected on four 3-pointers and netted 18 points to lead Monroe.  Rayshawn Boswell, Tyquil Glasgow and De’vante Mateo chipped in with 12 apiece.  Tyler Curtis 28 and 15 rebounds for Webster-Thomas.

Kailee White poured in 27 and Chris Reed recorded a double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds as R-H won its fourth straight. Justen Polk added nine points and three assists for the Comets.

Brockport (10-4) 70
Cory Gross (17 points, 13 rebounds) and Noah Schultz (11, 15) recorded double-doubles to lead Brockport. Antonio Alvarez had 18 points and six assists.

Greece-Olympia (2-13) 59
Keith Slack connected six times behind the arc and scored 26 to pace Gates-Chili. Elijah Powell had 24 points and eight rebounds for Olympia.

Keagan Occur hit three triples and finished with 17 points to lead Finney. Cameron Odum and Wesley Gerace scored 11 apiece.

LaDre Standford, who recorded a quadruple-double earlier this season, paced Avoca with 16 points, 16 rebounds, six assists and seven steals. Brett Ogden added 15 points, 15 rebounds and five blocks. Evan Reppert tallied 18.

Colin Cornish netted 20, and Connor VanGorden had 16 to lead Jasper-Troupsburg. Joshua Price had 12.

Hammondsport’s James Kolodziejczak scored a dozen. Parker Watson chipped in with 14 points and four assists. George Ruddy had six points, 11 rebounds and three assists.

Owen Thompson poured 30 points and grabbed 15 rebounds to lead Attica.

Jacob Hoffee scored 16, and Eric Neace had 15 to lead Lyndonville.

Ryley Elliott had 17 and 12 rebounds to pace Pavilion. Caleb Milligan added 17 points, seven rebounds and four assists. Luke Milligan had 12 points, seven rebounds and five steals.  Brandon Miller had 27 points, 14 rebounds and three blocks in a losing effort.

Seth Gill converted 11 of 12 free throws and finished with 20 points to lead Letchworth. Ryan Hamilton had 15, and Donnie Shearing 11.

Dustin Kinnaird scored 16. Austin Swackhamer added 15, and Duncan Allen had 13 to lead Alfred-Almond.

Josh McGuire scored 15 for Genesee Valley.

Hornell (7-6) 59
Miles Brown poured in 23 points and dished out 10 assists to lead Northstar Christian.  Caleb Burdett scored 25 in a losing effort.
