Westbrook, Thunder roll past undermanned Clippers

OKLAHOMA CITY 114 LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS 88
OKLAHOMA CITY — Russell Westbrook needed just 28 minutes to record his 16th triple-double of the season as Oklahoma City (21-13) jumped to a 29-point lead at half and coasted to an easy victory over the Clippers.

Westbrook collected 17 points on 6-of-11 shooting from the floor and five of six from the free throw line to help the Thunder respond to their recent loss at the hands of the Memphis Grizzlies. Westbrook added 14 assists and 12 rebounds. Enes Kanter netted 23 off the bench to lead five OKC players in double figures. Victor Oladipo scored 15 and Steven Adams added 11. Alex Abrines chipped in with 12 points.

Marreese Speights and Brandon Bass scored 18 apiece off the bench to lead the Clippers who played without Blake Griffin (knee surgery) and Chris Paul (Hamstring injury).

HOUSTON ROCKETS 129 NEW YORK KNICKS 122

HOUSTON — James Harden matched Wilt Chamberlain with the most points in a triple-double netting 53 to go with 17 assists and 16 rebounds.

MILWAUKEE BUCKS 116 CHICAGO BULLS 96

CHICAGO — Giannis Antetokounmpo netted 35 as Milwaukee (16-16) erased a halftime deficit to snap a three-game losing skid.

CLEVELAND CAVALIERS 121 CHARLOTTE 109

CHARLOTTE — LeBron James scored a game-high 32 including 17 in the first quarter as Cleveland (25-7) grabbed a double-digit lead at half and never trailed from there. The Cavs have won six of their last seven.

UTAH JAZZ 91 PHOENIX SUNS 86

SALT LAKE CITY — Rudy Gobert dropped 18 points and grabbed 13 rebounds as the Jazz (21-13) snapped a four-game losing streak.

MEMPHIS GRIZZLIES 112 SACRAMENTO KINGS 98

SACRAMENTO — Mike Conley and Jeff Green combined for 40 points, and the Grizzlies (22-14) won their third straight and fourth out of their last five. Conley scored a team-high 22 points on 8-of-11 shooting to go with eight rebounds and three assists. Green connected on four of five shots behind the arc and finished with 18. Sacramento’s DeMarcus Cousins led all scorers with 26 on 7-of-18 shooting from the floor.
