DAYTON – The University of Dayton men’s basketball team (7-2) won its fifth straight game Saturday, defeating the East Tennessee State Buccaneers (7-2) at UD Arena Saturday afternoon by a final score of 75-61.
Charles Cooke led the way for Dayton, scoring 24 points while pulling down eight rebounds and blocking a career-high four shots. Kendall Pollard recorded his first start of the season, contributing a double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds. READ MORE.

Smith Center, the George Washington men’s basketball team welcomed local foe Howard, and subsequently dismissed the Bison with a wire-to-wire 79-62 win. MIAMI – Senior Jordan Price had a team-high 23 points and junior B.J. Johnson added 19 for the La Salle University men’s basketball team (4-4), who saw Georgetown (6-4) break a 67-67 tie with a decisive 11-1 run to come away with a 93-78 win at the Hoophall Miami Invitational on Saturday.
