Bona alum Ndoye inks deal with French League’s JL Bourge

2015 St. Bonaventure alumnus Youssou Ndoye has signed a contract to play for JL Bourg in France this season.

Last year, Ndoye played for the Austin Spurs of the NBA Developmental League. The 7-foot center averaged 7.9 points, 7.0 rebounds and 1.1 blocked shots in 49 games. Ndoye helped the Spurs finish first in the Southwest Division and reach the finals of the D-League playoffs.

His senior season at St. Bonaventure, Ndoye was named to the Atlantic 10 Conference’s all-conference third team and all-defensive team after he averaged 11.8 points, 10.1 rebounds and 2.6 blocks per game.

Bourg finished 20-14 in France’s Pro B League last season, finishing in fifth place in the 18-team league.

Ndoye is from Dakar, Senegal. He attended Lee Academy in Maine before enrolling at St. Bonaventure. Ndoye was a member of the Bonnies’ 2012 A-10 Championship team.
