Former Billiken Kevin Lisch and the Australian men’s basketball team face China today in the 2016 Rio Olympics. Game time is 12:15 p.m. (CT), and it will be streamed at www.nbcolympics.com.

Australia is 2-1 in the group phase and is in a good position to advance to the quarterfinals, which begins next Wednesday. China (0-3 in the group phase) and Sunday’s opponent Venezuela (1-2) are the two teams in Group A currently outside of the top four that will advance to the knockout stages.

Lisch came off the bench for 20 minutes in Australia’s wins against France and Serbia in the first two games. In Australia’s loss against the United States on Wednesday, Lisch saw limited minutes in a competitive game that saw the Australians lead at halftime.
