CINCINNATI — Xavier University head men’s basketball coach Chris Mack announced today that senior Tim Stainbrook (Bay Village, Ohio/Lakewood St. Edward) has been awarded a scholarship for his senior season. Stainbrook, who is entering his fourth season in the Musketeer program, was a walk-on for the 2015-16 season.

“Tim has earned this scholarship,” said Mack. “He has been a positive part of our program on and off the court since he arrived on campus.”

Tim Stainbrook was on scholarship one previous season thanks to the generosity of his older brother Matt. In Matt’s senior year, the 2014-15 season, Matt agreed to be a walk-on to open a scholarship for Tim.
