HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – Seth Rosenberg tossed 4.0 innings on Tuesday, allowing just two hits and one run, but the Northern Kentucky University baseball team could not hold off the Xavier offense as it fell 8-1 at Bill Aker Baseball Complex.
Rosenberg retired a stretch of 10-straight and struck out two in relief after coming in to pitch in the fourth frame with the Norse down 5-0.

Three Musketeer home runs fueled the Xavier offense. An Andre Jernigan homer and groundout RBI handed XU a 2-0 lead in the second, followed by a three-run fourth that included a two-run home run from Ethan Schmidt for a 5-0 lead that NKU could not overcome.
