CINCINNATI — Xavier University sophomore guard Larry Austin Jr. has decided to transfer from Xavier. Austin played in 34 games as a sophomore, averaging 1.8 points and 1.1 assists in 9.8 minutes per game.
“Larry stated to us that he has a desire to transfer with a hope of getting more playing time,” said Xavier head coach Chris Mack. “We appreciate Larry’s contributions to our program and wish him well.”
Austin averaged 10 minutes in 33 games for the Musketeers. He scored 1.9 points per game with 1.2 rebounds.
