COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State University head coach Urban Meyer and his staff capped the 2016 national letter of intent signing day with a class of 25 new Buckeyes. Seven of these young men are already enrolled at Ohio State and taking course work with 18 new Buckeyes officially joining the recruiting class on Wednesday by signing their national letters of intent.

The class will be considered among the top classes in the nation once again, with this corps of prospects entering the day ranked No. 2 by three of the major recruiting services and No. 1 by another.

Ohio State loses 16 starters – eight on offense and eight on defense – off its 2016 team that went 12-1 and defeated Notre Dame in the Fiesta Bowl.
