New Year’s Eve was a slow night for the Atlantic Sun Conference as they dropped all three games. All three games were non-conference games.
Northern Kentucky University 74 Youngstown State 78
NKU’s Jalen Billups notched a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Bobby Hain chipped in 22 points for Youngstown.
North Florida University 60 Austin Peay 65
Poor shooting (37.5 percent) and turnovers (15) plagued the North Florida University offense. Chris Freeman had 23 points for Austin Peay.
Kennesaw State 62 Tennessee State 73
Yonel Brown shined in the loss against Tennessee State, scoring 21 points. This is the eleventh time this season that he has scored in double-digits.
