HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. (Sept. 11 2014) – Northern Kentucky University and its athletics multimedia rights holder, Learfield Sports’ NKU Norse Sports Properties, announced today that ESPN 1530 will serve as the flagship station for 2014-15 NKU men’s basketball.
Clear Channel Media and Entertainment Cincinnati’s WCKY – Cincinnati’s home for ESPN 1530 – will carry men’s basketball games throughout the season. Fans can also listen to ESPN 1530 on the station’s website espn1530.com, as well as oniHeartRadio.com and the iHeartRadio mobile app, Clear Channel’s all-in-one music streaming and digital radio service. In the event of a programming conflict, Clear Channel’s FOX Sports 1360 AM (WSAI) or 55KRC AM (WKRC) will carry the NKU games.

Norse Sports Properties oversees all aspects related to NKU Athletics’ rights, as well as the Northern Kentucky Sports Network, now also working with ESPN 1530 and Clear Channel’s two Cincinnati sister stations.
