Signed, Sealed, Delivered: Saint Peter’s Peacocks 2012-13

November 3, 2012 by Paul Gotham Leave a Comment

Counting down the days to tipoff previewing the incoming freshmen of the Metro-Atlantic Athletic Conference. Next up is the Saint Peter’s Peacocks. One year after winning the MAAC and earning a bid to the NCAA Tournament, St. Peter’s fell to 5-26 in 2011-12. John Dunne and his staff welcome two freshmen to campus:

Elias Desport 6’7” 213lbs. F Stockholm, Sweden/Solna Gymnasium

Chazz Patterson 6’3” 170lbs. G Brown Mills, N.J./Trenton Catholic

What they’re saying about Chazz Patterson – Steve Keller/The National Recruiting Report: “He was someone who continued to improve throughout the year for Trenton Catholic.”

Jay Gomes/NJHoops.com: “Chazz Patterson is one of quite a few division one players at Trenton Catholic who was kind of a role player for them. He’s a very good athlete, a track star also. He’s a good three-point shooter. He’s the kind of guy that John Dunne kind of finds under the radar. He’s going to be a good player for them. He’s a good defender as well which always give him a better chance to get on the floor.”

Allen Rubin/Hoop Scoop: “He’s an athletic two-guard, good scorer, good defender.”
