ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – The St. Bonaventure men’s basketball team has picked up another TV game this season, as the Bonnies will be showcased nationally on NBC Sports Network when they travel to Cornell on Nov. 14.
The game brings the reigning Atlantic 10 Conference champions total regular-season TV appearances to nine, including contests across CBS and NBC family affiliates. Additionally, SBU’s matchup at preseason ACC favorite NC State will be available on ESPN3 – an online streaming channel.
It also marks the second scheduled national TV appearance for the Bonnies, with the other coming on CBS Sports Network at home on Jan. 16 against Xavier.
Available in 80 million United States households, the NBC Sports Network – previously Versus – is scheduled to televise more than 50 college basketball games this year, the most in the network’s history.
St. Bonaventure opens its season with an exhibition tilt against Mansfield on Saturday at 3 p.m. The game is the second half of a doubleheader with the women, who will battle Edinboro in the Reilly Center beginning at 1.
