The Owls and Flyers have met three times in previous A-10 tournament semi final games, with Temple advancing to the championship game twice. But the Flyers upset the Owls last year, by a score of 75-67.

Definitely appears that both teams have the adrenalin pumping early on. Dayton is just 3 for 12 from the field, and Temple is just 3 for 8.

Early on Temple is all about sharing the rock. 6 field goals/ 5 assists.
Both teams continue to struggle shooting the ball, Temple just a little less.

Gonna keep harping on this but it is all about the bench right now. Dayton’s bench has scored 17 of their 30 points, and has outscored the Temple bench 17-7.
Shey Peddy was held scoreless until the 2:15 mark of the first half. Since then, she has scored 5 of the Owls’ 29 points. The senior came into the game averaging 17 points a game.
Halftime and Dayton leads Temple 36-29.
Temple came into the game giving up just 55 points per game.
At the half, Dayton has already scored 36.
Shey Peddy held scoreless for nearly 18 minutes? Pray tell.
Temple has started the 2nd half with all cylinders firing. 3 for 5 from the field . Dayton turned the ball over twice in the early stages.

Dayton has done a great job of forcing the ball out of the Peddy’s hands. Temple is having to rely on the rest of the team to keep them in this game.

That being said, she left alone right in front of us and had a great look . She missed, but Temple got the offensive rebound for the put back.
