- With the loss, Rhode Island drops to 1-10. Quinnipiac improves to 6-3.
- The Rams shot a season-high 53.1% (26-49), marking the first time this season they finish better than 50-percent from the field.
- Quinnipiac netted 25 of 58 attempts, for a 43.1% showing.

- Rhode Island put together its best first-half of the season, connecting at a 56% clip (14-of-25). It marked just the third time Rhody has led after the first 20 minutes of play. The Rams are now 1-2 when leading at the break.
- URI held the momentum throughout the beginning of the second period, taking its largest lead of the game (11 points) after a basket by Cloutier made it a 48-37 game with 12:50 left to play.
- The Bobcats slowly clawed their way back and took their first lead in nearly 25 minutes when a Warner layup put them in front, 64-63, with 35 seconds remaining. A basket by Coia put the Rams back on top by one (65-64) but McQuain hit 1-of-2 to end regulation at 65-65.
- Quinnipiac then outscored Rhody, 7-2, in overtime. Both of URI’s points came from the free throw line as Lewis connected on a pair of foul shots.
- Four different Rams scored in double figures for the first time this season – Coia (19), Rivera (15), Cloutier (11) and Lewis (10).
- Coia’s 19 points were a new career high, as were Rivera’s eight assists. Lewis matched her career-best with the 10-point performance.
- Barron (22), McQuain (13), Jasmine Martin (12) and Goodchild (11) all scored in double figures for the Bobcats.
What’s Next:
The Rams have a week off for exams before hosting New Hampshire on Dec. 18. Rhode Island is 9-16 in the all-time series vs. the Wildcats. The last time the teams met (Jan. 1, 2011), UNH posted an 88-74 triple overtime victory in Durham, N.H. In that game, Megan Shoniker led all players with 29 points while Sherrie Session and Lara Gaspar added 11 apiece. Over her 24+ years as a head coach, Cathy Inglese has compiled a 13-9 record against New Hampshire, going 7-7 at Vermont, 6-1 at Boston College and 0-1 here at URI.
