Rhody opens the month of December at the Brown Bear Classic in Providence. There, the Rams will face Brown on Saturday (2 p.m.) and Fairfield in Sunday (2 p.m.) – the fifth and sixth of seven consecutive road games for the Rams. Rhode Island is 22-8 in the all-time series vs. Brown, winning each of the last four – and eight of the last ten – meetings between the teams. Against Fairfield, URI is 3-3 all time, most recently downing the Stags (52-44) last season in Fairfield. Over her 24+ years as a head coach, Cathy Inglese has compiled a 4-0 record against Brown and is 3-4 against Fairfield. At Rhode Island, Inglese has combined for a 3-1 record against the Bears (2-0) and Stags (1-1).
