I don’t like that rule. Guy is getting trapped and a coach calls timeout from the other side of the floor. Negates good defense.
Casey says
Who is that new guy in the Duke lineup? Oh wait, no, it’s Kyle Singler. Welcome back to the lineup after your four-game sojourn.
Wally says
Holy crap … Arizona is coming of age! Derick Williams is a stud … but they’ve got some other good players too.
Casey says
Williams, and Arizona, have really pulled their game together at the right time. I saw Williams play a couple of times earlier this year. He didn’t come close to what he has shown over the last two games. Everyone is going to talk about those two dunks (which were eye-popping), but the play that got me was the 3 he hit late in the first half. He was at a stand still, five feet behind the arc with a hand in his face and he nailed it. If you’re Duke, you had to be thinking -‘oh, this can’t be good.’
Interesting thing is Williams is one of those guys that originally committed to USC bu left with the fallout regarding Floyd.
Now, here’s the thing – in this age of hyperbole, does he take the bait and jump to the draft?
