A glance at some of the interesting tilts on this week’s college basketball slate.

Kansas at Kansas State — tonight, 9p.m.

K-State’s season is falling harder than former Western New York Congressman Chris Lee’s political career. A victory tonight could provide a taste of redemption.

Michigan State at Ohio State — Tuesday, 9 p.m.

The Buckeyes coming off their first loss, and the Spartans in need of a signature win.

Georgetown at U Conn — Wednesday, 7 p.m.

Is it possible that Austin Freeman gets a little more motivated at the prospect of outplaying Kemba Walker?

St. Louis at St. Bonaventure — Wednesday, 7 p.m.

The Bonnies want to host a first round game in the upcoming A10 tournament. Right now, St. Bonaventure is where they need to be to do such a thing. The Billikens want to supplant the Bonnies.

Canisius at Niagara — Wednesday, 7 p.m.

The Griffs are looking for a first-round bye in the MAAC tournament. The Purple Eagles would like to bounce their rival.

Richmond at Temple — Thursday, 7 p.m.

It’s a battle for second place in the A 10.

U Conn at Louisville — Friday, 9 p.m.

What’s this? A Big East game on Friday night? And it’s not the tournament? Tournament seeding is on the line.

VCU at Wichita State – Friday, 7 p.m.

This year’s Bracketbusters starts with a bang. Two teams, with NCAA Tournament prospects, clash.

Pittsburgh at St. John’s — Saturday, high noon

The Johnnies have defeated how many ranked teams at The Garden this year?

Notre Dame at West Virginia — Saturday, 1 p.m.

How tough are the Irish? This game will give clues to that answer.

Washington at Arizona — Saturday, 6 p.m.

Washington’s Isaiah Thomas supposedly has a chip on his shoulder. The Wildcats have the Huskies in their rear view mirror. For now.

Utah State at St. Mary’s — Saturday, 9 p.m.

Truth and consequences and who has what it takes to win a game, or two, in The Dance.

Ohio State at Purdue — Sunday, 1 p.m.

Jared Sullinger versus JaJuan Johnson. That matchup alone is reason to watch this game.

St. Bonaventure at Richmond — Sunday, 3 p.m.

Senior point guards, Ogo Adegboye and Kevin Anderson could be squaring off for the last time.
