I suppose you can blame me for this rush of young punks who think they are ready for the pro hard wood. I wasn’t the first, but I sure did lead others into thinking that the road to the promised land was easy. In 19 seasons I wrote the ten commandments of boards. I rank in the top ten of all rebounding categories – offensive, defensive, and total. I also finished in the top ten all-time for points scored and free throws made. I collected a few MVPs and was 1st Team All-NBA five times and 2nd team four times. I didn’t exactly part the Red Sea, but I sure did feel a lotta love as I led a team to the NBA title.
