Who am I?

October 30, 2008 by Paul Gotham 16 Comments

After years of taking hits while I was running, now I just run – marathons. Yeah those 11 years running the gridiron in the NFL were nice, but man the hits were brutal. So upon retirement I decided to keep myself in shape by running – 26 miles at a time. Ok – sometimes I run half marathons. My friends think I’m crazy. Actually, it’s not much in comparison to my off-season training on the hill. That training regimen helped me gain over 8,000 yards on the ground and score 73 tds in the regular season and nine playoff touch downs. I led the league in receptions one year. Another year I topped the yards from scrimmage chart. I earned 1st team All-Pro once and played in four Pro Bowls. I also have three rings in my jewelry box.

Nice job Pete – I am a month away from my contract ending with Frontier and I can’t wait to drop them like a bad habit.

The amount of problems I have with their signal is borderline Al Davis… Just absolutely insane.

I almost walked into their offices, pulled a Mike Singletary and dropped my pants….

I do only watch football on Saturdays, but I google like Chas everyday. My problem; my wife usually doesn’t let me at the computer at 8-9 PM.

PS: Smitty-tary; be sure to invite us to the Frontier office if you ever do go. We want to be there to support you and witness the “greatest spectacle in sports”. Hope you go roadrunner and gmail. It’s a pretty solid combo.

I hate Time Warner- but love their Road Runner…

    Doesn’t always help, however…

Now let’s all join hands and sing…

Man – you guys are way too quick for me this season. I’ll be happy to get on the board…

Muels, were you waiting for someone to respond…M-I-C-K-E-Y…M-O-U-S-E?

It appears that season 2 is going to be more about who’s on at the time of the WAI post than last year, because everybody’s into it and pretty good at it.

It will be during Challenge II that we’ll separate the men from the Smiths. 🙂

Meanwhile, Smitty and I, and another former teammate, have been reminiscing via email about our 2005 championship softball team. So, there’s still some love.
