The Clipboard is proud to announce plans to host the Frozen Pond Diary – an up close look at junior hockey through the eyes of Mike Gionta.
Mike plays with the Queen City Steam of the the Central States Hockey League (CSHL) – a tier III Junior A hockey league in the United States. To participate in the CSHL, players must be 20 years old or under before the season starts.
The main purpose of the CSHL is to help players, coaches, and officials advance their careers to the collegiate and professional level. The league attracts players from all over the United States, as well as Canada and Europe.
Mike will begin sharing his experiences on a weekly basis beginning Wednesday, July 30th.
