Coach’s Quote:
“Tonight was a good first step towards our ultimate goal. We know that we definitely need to play better next week, we will watch the tape and make our adjustments. Canisteo-Greenwood is obviously a very dangerous team and we know that they deserve our full attention and focus this week. The good news is we are still playing football into November and we get another week with this great group of young men. It’s not always pretty with this group but we talk about finding away and they continue to make plays when they need to. Yeriel and Johnny did a good job on the ground and the line had some nice lanes out there this evening, but still lots to clean up. Hats off to the Defense and special teams each getting on the board tonight, so a good 3 phase win. Back to the grind on Monday and its four days of focus, corrections and improvements to get ready for our biggest game of the season. What more do you want to be doing than playing this great sport with a spot in the championship game on the line, this is what it’s all about.”
