Sectional Preview: Class AAA Boys’ Soccer

Two state-ranked sides head up a Class AAA bracket that adds last season’s Class AA runner-up, Penfield.

Penfield (9-3-2), ranked No. 8 in New York State, tops the seed line. NYS No. 20 and NYS runner-up Fairport (7-5-2) will look to defend its title as the third seed. The Red Raiders have won three straight Section V AAA titles. East/Monroe/SWW (9-3-1) begins sectional play as the two-seed and fresh off a five-game win streak to finish the regular season.

The tournament kicks off with two opening-round matchups on October 20^th followed by semi-final action on Monday, October 26th.

The final is set for October 30^th at Greece Athena high school.
