Sectional Preview: Class A Boys’ Soccer

Two state-ranked sides head the Class A bracket that is down from 12 teams in 2025 to nine this year.

NYS No. 9 and last year’s runner-up Pittsford Sutherland (10-4-0) comes in as the one seed, followed by NYS No. 20 Wayne (11-3-2). Honeoye Fall-Lima (6-6-4), and Batavia (5-8-2) follow as the third and fourth seeds.

The tournament begins with one first round matchup on Tuesday, October 20^th followed by quarterfinal action on October 23-24 and the semi-finals on Tuesday, October 27th.

The championship is set for Friday, October 30^th at Greece Athena High School.
