Gavyn Phillips delivered the lone goal of the game off of a corner kick from Grant Francis to give Livonia the win. Oliver Taylor logged the shutout in goal and had a save in the final seconds to secure the win.

“The conditions were tough and we struggled to really control the ball well,” said Bulldogs head coach Ryan Humphrey via email. “We had quite a few opportunities in front of their net but just couldn’t capitalize. Nevertheless, the boys continued to play solid defense and never quit.”

Chace Morgan scored twice in a first half that saw Campbell-Savona/Bradford score four times to seize control of the game in the first round of the Odessa-Montour Soccer Tournament. Morgan scored in the 19th minute off an assist from Lukas Carapella before finding the back of the net again in the 22nd minute after Dominick Spina set him up. Carapella scored in the 12th minute with Gavin Templar picking up the assist. Spina assisted Garrett Stinson in the 29th minute to bring the first half to 4-0. Kacey DeArmitt scored the final goal for Campbell-Savona/Bradford in the 58th minute, with Cooper Alington earning the assist. Kean Miller scored unassisted in the 49th minute for South Seneca/Romulus. Campbell-Savona/Bradford will take on the winner of Odessa-Montour (IV) and Elmira Heights (IV) in the tournament’s championship game on Friday night.

Seth Rounds broke a tie with a goal in the 74th minute that ended up winning it for Haverling. Rounds scored twice on the night, with Conner Binkowski assisting on both goals. Lukas Wightman made four saves for the Rams. Anatole Colson had a goal for Hornell.

Jaydin Wright turned in a hat trick for Letchworth/Warsaw as the United scored three unanswered goals to earn the win. Dan Murray assisted on Wright’s first goal, which came in the 25th minute to tie the game at one. In the 52nd minute, Wright found the back of the net again, this time on an assist from Dan Murray. Three minutes later, Bryce Roche found Wright for his third and final goal. Ruslan Ushurov made nine saves in the win.
