Cam Barbulean and Jake Weber led Greece Post 468 to the New York State American Legion District 7 Regular Season Championship. The duo earned top honors as voted by the coaches.
Barbulean earned Pitcher of the Year and Most Valuable Player honors for American Legion District 7, as well as a two-way player All-District nod. On the mound, Barbulean spun 27 and 2/3 innings for Greece Post 468 with a .25 ERA and .69 WHIP. He notched 34 strikeouts from the rubber, with a .130 BAA. In the box, Barbulean hit .433 with a 1.100 OPS for the 468, collecting 9 RBI.
Weber earned Offensive Player of the Year honors for his contributions to Greece Post at the plate. Webber took the batting crown with a .442 AVG at the plate and a league-leading 1.179 OPS and 18 runs, only striking out twice in 53 plate appearances.
ALL DISTRICT SELECTIONS
PITCHERS:
Ethan Postle, P, Greece Post 468
Postle slung 30 innings for the 468 with a 1.17 ERA for 468. Postle led his All-District peers with 36 strikeouts, accompanied by a 1.03 WHIP and .121 BAA for a 2-0 record with three no-decisions.
Brayden Ricigliano, P, James Cooke Post 931
Ricigliano led District 7 in wins with a 4-0 record over 26 innings pitched for the 931. Ricigliano tossed to the tune of a 1.35 ERA and a 1.15 WHIP, notching 17 strikeouts with a .222 BAA.
Dylan Dumont, P, Cottreall-Warner Post 942
Dumont earned All-District honors for his effort for 942, throwing 21 and 2/3 innings for the 942 with a 2-0 record. Dumont sat down 33 with a 2.59 ERA and 1.29 WHIP, only allowing batters to hit .220 against.
Collin Bates, P, Ferris Goodridge Post 330
Bates pitched 27 innings with a 2-2 record for Ferris Goodridge Post 330 to earn All-District Honors. Bates whiffed 29 for a 1.30 ERA and .78 WHIP with a .125 BAA.
Kal Whelehan, P, Chili Post 1830
Whelehan went 2-0 for Chili Post 1830 in 26 and 1/3 innings to earn an All-District nod. Whelehan spun to a 1.06 ERA with 13 strikeouts, pairing them with a 1.29 WHIP and .243 BAA.

OUTFIELDERS:
Henry Shutts, OF, Cottreall-Warner Post 942
Shutts earned All-District honors after posting a .955 OPS for Cottreall-Warner. Shutts batted .400 in the box, tallying 9 RBI on the season.
Conor Forkey, OF, Cottreall-Warner Post 942
Conor Forkey added to the 942’s All-District selections by posting a .364 batting averag and earning All-District Honors. Forkey hit for a 1.095 OPS with 15 runs and 12 stolen bases.
Ryan Lewin, OF, Ely Fagan 1151
Ryan Lewin hit .412 in the box for Ely Fagan Post 1151 to earn All-District Honors. Lewin notched 12 runs with 8 RBI for a 1.105 OPS, adding 10 stolen bases in his campaign.
INFIELDERS:
Matthew Lanning, 1B, James Cooke Post 931
Lanning batted .375 with a .884 OPS to earn the first base All-District nod. He notched a league-leading 21 hits with 11 RBI and 12 runs.
Aidan Kress, C, Greece Post 468
Kress drove in a league-leading 15 RBI playing behind the dish for the 468. Kress batted .344 with a .925 OPS.
Oliver Wright, INF, Ely Fagan Post 1151
Wright posted a 1.140 OPS for the 1151 while playing the infield. Wright hit .435 from the dish with 14 RBI.
Aaron Reina, INF, Chili Post 1830
Reina hit .390 to earn All-District honors, driving in 13 RBI for the 1830. Reina posted a 1.139 OPS and plated 15 runs on the season.
Jake Weber, 3B, Greece Post 468
Along with a batting title and Offensive Player of the Year honors, Weber posted a .442 average over 53 plate appearances with a 1.179 OPS for the 468. Weber plated a league-best 18 runs.
